Well,Well, I saw this video two months ago at my house in Brazil while planning my vacation. And now I'm typing here from Albania, seeing that everything you said is the purest truth. Of all the trips I've taken, this is by far the one that impressed me the most. Here is a country rich in culture, humble and kind people and incomparable cuisine.

Albania is such an underrated country. In near future it will be like Croatia when it comes to tourism. Albania has a great coastline and a beautiful countryside. Love from Greece, neighbours!! Respect to this guy to own such a great place!

I have worked as a bartender in ksamil and there are so many turists taking the boat from Albania to Greece or vice versa they are seriously astonished by the beauty of two countries. The only downside i heard them saying is the border they had to go through wich is not benefical for the two countries.
Love this place and the owner altin its such a nice guy down to earth and simple even though he build an empire by himself and working so hard to keep the albanian traditions alive.well done 👏👏
Imagine these guys went to Italy with an illegal boat, worked there washing dishes, got so much experience and than they came back home and created an Empire of Food. Great, hardworking people!

Also here in Sydney i got two friends one from Pristine and the other one Kumanovo I can not see different between us. I dont give a damn about the roothen politicians. The purity is in us ppl, please don not let brainless corrupted politician to ruins our balkan tradition. We all got the most beautiful piece of earth called Bulkan, the best food, the best nature, the best warmhearted ppl, no point of arguing making some brainless idiots happy. Over the centuries who know whats happened, in this times we got bigger issue injecting who know what, facial recognition, braking down our families etc lets stick together and help eachther before is to late. Altin is every chef's dream. Growing his ingredients at the village he is from, employing his local community. Everything he makes is grown locally including the flour down to the rice.

We love this guy in Albania. Altin is a very hard working, innovating humble man, so funny too he has a great sense of humor. Has done a lot for the whole community there, employing a lot of people and building, renovating and repurposing 30 years long forgotten and deteriorated communist facilities.

Amazing video David. I love to see how how awesome these folks are. I learned through geneology that my 2nd great grandfater left Shkodër around 1860 so this is even more personal. I will need to take my family there to see these beutiful places where our ancestors came from. Thank you!

Something ive had a lot actually, scince i am albanian, not my favorite type of cheese we do though. We also do a very soft white cheese kinda like mozzarella but with a lot more flavor. Recommended.

Im Albanian from the US. Going to that restaurant has been in my plans since i first heard of it. One of the best and innovative restaurants in 🇦🇱. Next time I return to my roots, mrizi i zanave is in my checklist
My niece lives in Tirana, while her parents were visiting they stopped at Mrizi i Zanave. What a spectacular location and the food looks scrumptious. We will definitely add this to our bucket list.

David, this was incredible and utterly amazing, I spent some time in Albania in 2017, loved the food, its stunning coasts, fantastic mountains and its warm welcoming people. The smoked black sausages and meats I had were excellent, but I especially loved the cheese, especially the yellow one hot for breakfast. What a talented guy, making things in a natural and sustainable way, small groups of producers making a massive difference.
Another thing is that the prices are extremely affordable.we went there 4 people and order a lot ,basically we tried everything they had, and payed like 80 us dollars.
This is a beautiful, natural and Bio Resort in Albania. I have been there severals time and I miss it very much now that I do not live in Albania. There are a lot of other in Albania too. In Korca town there are some beautiful villages that offer wonderful small hotels ( Bujtina) , with very very good food and serice. Every body must visit Albania. It is a beautiful Country that offer to much for everyone. We have Alpe mountains and the most beautifull see ( Jon and Adriatic).
